Is there a guide to help with separation (getting ready for divorce), like helpful tips and what to do?

I'm considering leaving my husband but I don't know where to get started and I have no one to talk to. I know some steps, like finding a place of my own, and what I might be bringing, but I don't know after that. I need help!

  1. Well first step is marraige counselling with your husband and making it known you feel the way you do. If things do not work it will be easy for both of you to leave and you might even avoid the fighting and crap that would occur if you just walked out. Give your relationship some respect and treat it well when you leave.
  2. go to the library and check out a book about that. there are forms really official looking that you can buy at office max or some place like them. if you are really serious start taking your clothes out of the house a little at a time, that way when you are ready to go just go before you do all this sit down with pen and paper write down all the things he has done to make you feel this way. now be perfectly honest with yourself and answer this list with who's fault it was. for example; did he catch you with some one? was it his fault he came home early from work and found you? now was it his fault he was sick or was it your fault that you took a man into your and his bed? ya know questions you should be able to answer ,then make your decision
  3. Get a lawyer
  4. Getting a house or a place to stay is not a good thing to do when getting a divorce? You need to feel up divorce papers first and get a lawyer to make things smooth and better for your side. I came across this article and its pretty informative and helpful for as women. Its about Divorce and guidelines that we should Know. Hope this can help you out. Good Luck
