War on Divorce
Has Anyone Dated someone during there divorce and was it succesful and what tips can you provide?
She is not legally divorced yet, but they have been separated for a long time (nasty divorce) and the ex has been dating someone as well. Can it work and what do I have to do? It's already been over a year with her..

- I dated my husband during his divorce, but but only through the last month of it. Everything was signed it just took 60 days to process it and we started casually seeing each other about half way through that period. We didn't get serious until after everything was final.
- I would not date someone who has been divorced until at least 3 years later.Let her find herself first,date but no commitment so if you do decide later she is the one it will be right.Be friends first too
- Your going to get some bad feedback here. I've seen it on here before. I have to say it isn't going to be easy. You will have to remember that she has been hurt. People don't forget when someone hurts them. It will spill over into your relationship with her if you are not careful. Be patient and don't push. It can work out and you must care an awful lot about her to put yourself out like this. Just take your time and be very careful that you don't get your heart broken by her. Good luck
