My 17 yr old sister accused my husband of showing himself to her, she says he never touched her or himself or never made any advances. She says that every time he took her to work he had his pants zipped down so she could see his penis. There was an incident where he had boxers on and clipping his toe nail and she seen he privates, she told me immediately and let him know she seen him and he apologized to her. This supposedly happened months ago and she has been coming over to my house all this time. Why did she told about the other incident and was scared to tell me this, now months later when I made her mad at me over things I said about her boyfriend she decides to tell me. She told my mom and dad, they continued to let her stay over night at my house. My husband says it is not true, and we have setup for him to take a lie detector test. She tells me it is no big deal and not to get a divorce over it. My heart is broken, never have I busted him in a lie but I have her. My husband is willing to take the test and I also wanted her too. She first told me no..then said she would if he was not around. She is a high attention teenager/drama queen, she will not give me details on any of this, she actually very nasty to me about the whole issue.The story has changed a couple of times from saying he did to every time she rode in the car w/him to sometimes. He actually was in the bathroom in his boxers sitting on the toilet cutting his toe nails and I was at home. My dad does not think she is telling the truth, I wish I just knew for certain...this has killed me..I am dead inside

Sister - guilty as charged. Think about it...when he took her to work, his pants were unzipped and she could see his penis...so he's sitting in a car, behind the wheel, driving....why is she looking at his privates?! It sounds to me like she needs some attention and that's how she's trying to get it....and if he was cutting his toenail w/boxers on, it could easily have been visible...maybe she should quit looking there! And I would have her on limited time around the two of you.....if you've busted her in a lie before, she's pry doing it again....side with hubby...

IF SHE SAID THAT'S WHAT HAPPEN THEN YOU SHOULD BELIEVE HER OR MAKE HIM TAKE A LIE DETECTOR TEST AND IF HE REFUSES THEN THAT TELLS YOU THAT HE IS LYING BUT YOU SHOULD BELIEVE YOUR DAUGHTER BECAUSE SHE WAS THERE BEFORE HE WAS

This is something that you really have to evaulate carefully, if indeed your husband did not know he was exposing himself then mistakes do happen, however if he meant to expose himself in front of your sister, then you really have to make some hard decisions, perhaps you can talk to a counsellor or someone you really trust. If he is willing to take a lie detector test then I would take him up on it, if it comes back that he was telling the truth, then you need to really talk to your sister, before she winds up like the boy who cried wolf,and then there could be an instant where she really is telling the truth and no one will believe her. Tell her for every action there's a reaction. Good luck
talk to him and try to help him. If he gets too out-of-hand, though it may break your heart even more, divorce him. I'm sorry if it has to come to such a thing, but something must be done. You two can't live happily ever after when that is going on.
hard one to judge really....coz its a seriouse thing to concider...is your sister the lying attention seeking type or is she just a normal kid? you really need to find out the truth so u dont accuse anyone wrongly but....ur lil sis seems like she has been going out of her way to look at this penis...like when he was cutting his toe nails...maybe to stop the worry ask your husband to always remain fully clothed when your sis is around to avoid anything like that happening...though it is something you always need to bear in mind just incase you have your own kids
oof! keep an open mind, dont jump to conclusions. if he exposed himself to her and it bothered her, why did she continue to stay over if she was uncomfortable? if hes willing to take a lie detector you are lead to believe that hes not at all worried about the outcome because you cant fool a lie detector these days. who knows, maybe shes a lil instigator and a liar.

I would believe your sister. What she describes is what is called grooming. The man starts out with exposing himself in ways that he can easily explain as an accident. He is looking for her resoponse to see when it is safe to advance. Since she never responded to him he simply continued with the same safe level. The reason she didn't tell you is because of the hurt she knew it would cause you. Honestly it creates a situation where you have to make a choice....him or her. She knew that and was trying to protect you. I know it is a painful position to be in but the simple fact that you have requested a lie detector test shows you already know the truth. If you didn't believe her at some level there would be no need for the test. I feel badly for you. I had to make the same choice only it was my daughter that told me about my husband. I know the private hell you are going thru. Needless to say I am now divorced and he is facing criminal charges.
Why was he wearing boxers in front of your sister that could expose his private parts in the first place? If he had any respect for you & your sister he would have worn something not so revieling of himself.It's like he was trying to get her attention.
Very easy to find out if she is laying or not, just ask her to descirbe your husband's penis in detail, if she has really seen it then she would know what it looks like!
what a nasty spoil ed attention seeking self centred little sister you have! she's jealous of the loving husband you have. please don,t let her ruin your life. show her that you will not let her destroy your marriage. show some faith in your husband until you have proof to the contrary. ban her from staying over until she grows up and shows some respect. do not leave her alone with your husband and give her the opportunity to make this accusations. i bet she plays your parents off against you as well. put her in her place now before she destroys your marriage with her drama queen antics
