Dating after divorce?
I'm getting a divorce and am a bit worried about getting back out in the dating circuit. I can't even remember how to act normal on a date. Any tips, warnings? I'm not looking to have any serious relationships for a while, just have fun; dinner, sports etc, you know. What are the "rules" nowdays?

- Honesty... I think honesty is the main thing to remember. Tell him up front, your situation and your intentions. Take it slow, go out and have fun, if feelings start to develop, then back to the honesty thing. No rules, I don't think that dating has changed much, other than a lot more women want to pay thier own way sometimes. I was divorced several years ago and when I went out on my first date, she wanted to pay for half, sometimes all of dinner, movies etc. I insisted not, but she wanted to. I ended up marrying her and now, we still sometimes take turns paying for things. Good luck.
- U need to date new people definitely... its important for u to act normally just as u are, try to remember who where u b4 you got married... and try to recover your special features (just like the movies) guys like to meet girls just as they r... Im divorced and believe me u can recover does features... good luck!!!
