War on Divorce

Help!?!? Can someone help me with some divorce advice? Wyoming people especially?

I have been separated since January 2006. I am still trying to get a divorce, I don't know where my ex lives- somewhere in Washington with his pregnant girlfriend. We had a lot of "stuff," and he worked in the oilfield and made a lot of money. Since then he has quit and dont know how much money he's making... but he hasnt made any payments on anything since October, and everything is under my name too. My credit is terrible and I have a 30 hour per week job making 7 an hour, and three kids! Questions: How do I get a divorce? I don't have money for a lawyer and the pro se packet doesnt make sense When he has to pay child support is it from the time that he supported us or from what he makes now? In a divorce does the debt have to be split in two or can it be that he pays 6 times as much since he made 6 times as much when he was supporting us? I can barely afford my rent by itself let alone all these other things. Anything else you may have to add in would help a lot. I have the packet to do it myself, it's just that it's confusing with all of our debts, etc... also, his last known address is not where he is because it's the house that we shared! Neither of us live there anymore. I just know that he met a girl online that I think he is still with, and thats where she was from was Washington. Also, I am from Riverton... not that it matters? More details: I am the one who requested the divorce because I wasn't happy anymore... so the divorce is something that is going to happen no matter what. I have tried to find him but cant The last time I talked to him, was December 13 and he told me he could care less about what happens to the kids or if they even have a Christmas, that they are my problem now, and that he wants to give up his parental rights. I know he would sign papers and have no problem with that, because he told me I could have everything, he just wants it done. Problem is I just cant find him, and also I cant figure out the paperwork myself

  1. where in wyoming? walk to the courthouse and pick up papers, for 100 and something bucks you can file and send the papers to his last known address,
  2. uh, I am a Wyoming person... If you are in Park County, go to Dept of Family Services and talk to my ex-wife, who runs it... if you are not go to your county's Dept of Family Services and ask your questions. they will help. they can attach yer ex-husband's paycheck. Yeah, I am a Wyoming guy. Living in a better place----feel free to e-me---all the best, Brian
  3. u can file for divorce and tell them you don't know where he is. they will try to find him and if they don't in a certain number of days you will get granted a divorce. as far as the rest , he needs to be found first. and if collecting welfare they will help
  4. Well for one thing, you need to get in touch with him and talk to him. Ask him what's going on and see if you two can reach an agreement but if not....then get a good lawyer and get that person to talk to him and tell him the consequenes of not going through with the divorce........or just simpley ask him, " Did you really want a divorce?"................
  5. There are services out there that can help you with a lawyer. It may require you finding your ex. Its an uncontested divorce where you both agree to split. It's not to expensive and can be done fairly quickly. In addition it doesn't matter what state you in. You should take a look
