War on Divorce

Why do people like Hillary even though she is too weak to divorce a cheating husband?

It baffles me how some people like her. Shrieking Panda, It is my business if she is running for president of the United States. I have the right to know why she is a wimp. Would she act like a door mat towards our enemies?

  1. It probably took more strength and character to stay, work it out and keep her family together. And I'm not even a Hillary fan.
  2. This one always surprises me. Would you want someone getting into the middle of your relationships and telling you what to do? Marriage is a complex issue and everyone handles things differently. Frankly, it's none of our business. Vote on the issues!
  3. Human gullibility has never surprised me since I first heard about Pet Rocks. (Although her supporters may have hit a new low.)
  4. People my age know that isn't a sign of weakness.
  5. Is that worse than being too weak to leave a church you don't agree with?
  6. Maybe she liked her husband making a fool of her. Who knows, i sure won't be voting for her anyway!
  7. She's not too weak. She was just smart enough to realize that she needed his name to make where she is today.
  8. i guess it's because she's a fighter,she stood her ground and stuck it out ]
  9. I don't think they really care, it is a marriage of convenience anyway.
  10. Bill Clinton may have had an assumed alleged indiscretion. Bill and Hillary have addressed this privately and they have moved on. The "weak" one would have been Bill--certainly not Hillary.
  11. I think Hillary is a very strong woman who has the integrity to hold her head high even though her and Bill's problems were made very public. This goes to show that they are human and make mistakes. Marriage is hard and when you love someone, you have to try to work things out.
  12. love is all you need. its not weakness. i'm not a fan of hers, but i don't think she's weak.
  13. She is just an oppurtunist. Must have figured out sticking with her cheating ex-President is better than being alone.
  14. by staying with a cheat it proves that she wont run away from problems. just because we saw the admission of him cheating TV, doesn't mean we have the right to judge her personal life. that is exactly what it is PERSONAL. it baffles me how some people like Bush, or Obama, or McCain, it is an opinion.
  15. its not a sign of weakness, its a sign of character. these days marriage is practically a joke. its so easy to just marry and divorce and act as if the vows you took dont mean squat. yeah bill is a dog but maybe hillary is stronger to forgive him and honor the vows she took then to easily divorce him like so many WEAK people do these days.
  16. I think she knew, given his popularity, that riding his coattails was the best way for her to have a chance at the presidency. That she chose to show 'a loving wife and mother' that wanted to maintain a family while preaching that 'it takes a village' is more than confusing - it's indicative of the lack of honesty on her part. She could have divorced a cheating husband - while she is no Bible follower, even it, requiring followers to maintain excellence in personal behavior, does allow for divorce in that situation. Had she done so, she would have struck a louder, more grand note for women across the nation than she does now, that of a person who settles, endorsing compromise and perceived approval from polls and special interests. Sad, really.
  17. Doesn't matter to her. She's a switch hitter anyway. They both cheat.
  18. I am far from a Hillary supporter but she is not weak. The political power bug bit her long before that came out and to divorce the Clinton machine was akin to committing political suicide. She sure has changed from the Michigan Bohemian gal that Bill fell for so long ago.
  19. she stands by her man, and that shows a lot of strength.
  20. It's so typical for people to ask questions like this... yet look at good ole Obama... more secrets come out about him weekly. At least with Hillary, we know all of her dirty laundry. And no, I don't think her staying with her husband makes her weak. She made the decision that was right for herself and her family and people like you need to keep their noses out of her marriage and her bedroom. You cannot say it is your business... Bill's indescretion did not affect the type of president he was and it sure won't affect the type of president Hillary will be!
